Friend has a ranger ( petrol ), used daily it’s coming up two years old with no bother, I had a bit of hassle with local dealers whilst trying to get a demo so we ended up with a Corvus, I think they are all of a muchness ,
We are on steep and wet land and I’ve not got it stuck yet, does 40 on flat but it’s noisy in there !!
My biggest problem is not the machine but the bloody sheep, they hear it coming and mob it thinking the snackers coming

A trick with snacking is as soon as you finish is to change revs and go up a fair speed, they learn to stop following when it’s going faster. We had a worker that would trundle around the fields at lambing at 4mph and got mobbed everytime, we told him to move to 10-15mph and they never followed him again. That was with a quad mind.

I tend to feed out then leather it to escape 😂

@Fendt516profi @exmoor dave and myself all have 1. I am not soft with any machines and mine has some hammerings and often 20+ mile at 40mph constant and only thing I’ve had was a stabiliser arm snap which was due to be upgraded on the next service anyway. Can do 200 mile flat out on a tank of diesel.
We're you shocked at the price of the stabiliser though, I almost posted a photo in WTF

Glad to hear they are better now, had a diesel in about 2014…. It was just dreadful…. Unsealed wheel bearings and plasticine suspension and half shafts…..
Went like stink when it was going tho….which after its first year wasn’t often 🤬

2years, think there is a hour limit but I didn't need to worry about that.
They know they are a issue as @Al R said his was due to be replaced at service so even if yours is out of warranty I would think they should stand it

Yes before I got mine I asked someone with one of them. They said they'd had a look round the new ones and everything that caused problems on theirs had been upgraded on new one so should be a better machine. The Kubota engine is also great on fuel

I was looking at a buggy when it was still the old engine but my dealer knew the new models were coming out with the Kubota engine which is a lot better so my dealer said he wouldn’t sell me the old model and wait until the Kubota engine came out with heavier running gear 👍🏻

what engine did the early ranger use?
The Corvus is a yanmar ( in all but name) same as the yanmar brabus from America

What’s the verdict on the Electric rangers?

One nearby but getting an honest opinion off the owner isn’t going to happen.

Actual Polaris ranger?
The new one isn't due over here for a few months I understood, but is meant to be a game changer.
The old one doesn't have a very good reputation.
