June if we have a dry summer and its needed for stockfeed, May if grass is plentiful.
Saw some wheat out in ear yesterday, a local farmer who grows an early variety to catch the old crop market before the majority get started- could be a good year for him.

July for me, the gap between new and old crop will narrow the closer to harvest we get. I’m just hoping that new crop will rise to meet old crop price. I’m normally wrong so I may delete this post sometime soon.
