If this is a ploy to identify vegans, it might not work.

When I was running a transport operation,all drivers to military bases had to fill out an MOD questionnaire with such info as are you a UK citizen. Other searching questions included "have you ever conspired to overthrow an elected government?" "Are you a member of a terrorist organisation?"

I bet they caught a few out with such devious question.

I ticked 'other'. I am the son of a farmer and a former farm worker but no longer involved with agriculture on a working basis, save for one morning a year planting spuds with @carbonfibre farmer. Family no longer farms, father retired, uncle retired, and I've no desire to go back to it, but i still spend most of my free time in the country.
