does anyone have an old frame and sheeting for a small holding for garden project to involve local infant schools.
walk in poly tunnel required if at all possible
Check out your local agricultural and other shows. Manufacturers of poly tunnels will erect one for the show but be reluctant to take it down and take it away after. Try them for a discount (50%) offering to remove it and clear up the site. I got that, plus a government subsidy of 50%, so a massive saving. But that was years ago. Always worth a try. Those who don't ask, don't get!
Good luck, may be best to look for a decent second hand frame and then buy a new cover. In my experience second hand covers are useless.
And don't forget about planning permission!
If you have no luck finding one a guy close to here has a frame made from pvc piping. He used tee’s and cross connectors to join it together. Then bought a cover to the size he’d made. Jyst make sure the covering is compatible with the pvc as it emits chloride over time which ruins the sheeting.
