Pommier boom ram old style tubular boom

Hi ,anyone got a ram or boom laid about they would break to sell me the fold rams /ram.

I know of this available, but I think later boom,

Hmm that’s quite different to mine..it has a linkage to push it round the corner and the booms are tubular but thank you for the suggestion…

You could buy the whole thing, it won’t be dear, customers wants rid of it,?

I was just after rams to repair mine tbh as mine is a 24 alloy that’s grafted onto 12 of steel to make a 36 m demount on fastrac so it would be a big job to change the booms and those rams look different ..that’s a shame.
Can probably get one made but thought there must be some laid about somewhere as there were lots of alloy booms around

The rams on that one have a pin either end,on my boom they have a alloy clamp around the ram tube at one end

Landquip probably have what you need. Found them cheap for spare parts.

For our thoroughly modern machinery!
Pommier no longer stock or make it either so was hoping to track some down as spares .

Yep he’s about three miles away so was first port of call and hasn’t anything…I put it in the press and straightened it and working order again now but could do to get a spare

Will fold it out and take a picture tomorrow and add it.

Have you tried local engineering firms to make a new one. A decent hydraulic specialist should be able to repair yours or make a new one

hi yes Larringtons would make me one but will take a week or two and it’s still usable as I’ve straightened it so if I can’t find one I will limp along till I’ve done for winter -could be soon looking at the weather!

I thought if I found one or two I’d have a spare then as it has some funny adjustable restrictive blocks welded too it as well and not sure if they can do that part
