I could have if that makes a difference ! Business address and my house are different ?Do you have 1 farm address or few farm addresses possibly???
I've been meaning to ask just that too. This may seem like a silly question, but I don't seem to be able to find an answer ! Does the 28 day campsite without planning count for only one camping area on the farm or could I have multiple different sites all with the 28 day allowance ? If that's understandable !
i Have been told it is per holding and can affect your BPS payment if you stretch the rules, definitely the case in our area anyway28 days per field if you like.
So you can rotate it around is how I read the legisaltion.
Relevant Legislation is here:
The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015
This instrument consolidates with amendments, in relation to England, the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 and subsequent amending instruments and revokes in relation to England the instruments listed in Schedule 4.www.legislation.gov.uk
told by who? Surely its a planning issue and has nothing to do with the RPA providing you do not exceed 28 days none agricultural use on any given parcel? There is an earlier thread on this topic https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/28-day-camping.318553/ This is a comment from Pitch up admitting some of their members do use different parcels in order to extend their season.i Have been told it is per holding and can affect your BPS payment if you stretch the rules, definitely the case in our area anyway
Well the BPS element won't be any worry to the equation soon !i Have been told it is per holding and can affect your BPS payment if you stretch the rules, definitely the case in our area anyway
They are probably the least well informed on such matters.... Planning bods often don't like admitting a gap in their knowledge so they give you their best assumption as if it is fact... It is best not to ask the planning department a question unless you already know the correct answer and can then put them on the back foot....From the planning department

Seeing the session was run by Pitch Up and the National Park planning department I would say that they knew what they were talking about. If folk want to try going for more than 28 days that’s up to them, two years of 56 day allowance have definitely shown the potential. But if you do then you run into a whole set of different regulations. They are probably the least well informed on such matters....
