In my quest to get a better price on bird bangers (we are getting through a lot recently trying to keep the flying rats off !) I have ended up getting a trade account with Portek through my Store Monitor company. I can offer TFF members them at a price which Im pretty sure wont be beaten else where

Don't need any as I've sent the pigeons to Lichfield, but how do these get delivered? Couriers happy to carry explosives?

yes there are a couple of carriers that offer the service no problem, it's not very expensive either really

PS - come get your pigeons back ! bloody things wont leave us alone this year !

They seem to come and go thIs winter, we have weeks when you see nothing followed by a week of plague like proportions

Good news is the bangers are working and do move them on well, in previous years they seem completely ambivalent to the bangs

Yes I have quite a few guys shoot - I often think that decoying etc can makes things worse though if you dont make sure you have bangers or gas guns going when they are not there with shotguns

I did a building job for a firework factory and looked into buying and selling fireworks as a side income but the delivery was nearly impossible with only DX / Nightfreight and TNT being willing to take them as their explosives and even then at a premium

There are a few delivery co's that will do it no problem, costs bit more than regular shipping but its quite doable and have had no problems so far
