How many days can you move animals after test.

we were under restriction but have had 2 clear test, how many days after testing do we have to move animals off the holding?

Seems like it depends on where you are, we've been closed up a fair bit over the last 14 years. Had a clear test in April after a year shut down and ours were lifted in 4 days. That's how it should be but I appreciate it obviously isn't for alot of people.

I was led to believe that under the new rules in some areas you couldnt sell after your 2nd clear test, you had to wait 60days and then pre-test anything you wanted to sell. Best to ring and ask though.

Luckily I havnt had to deal with this but a few people I know have had to have 2 clear tests and then a following pre movement test.

Last time we were shut down, our second clear test was on a Saturday just before Christmas. We had APHA lined up to lift our restriction on the Monday if we were clear as we wanted to shift calves out as market as they would be shut down for 2 weeks over Christmas and we were getting overstocked. Vet filled in digital return over a coffee at the end of the reading on the Saturday. I emailed our APHA contact at the same time. She scanned paperwork to me on Monday and the hard copy came in the post on Tuesday. Calves were sold at the Tuesday market . All happy.

Someone had entered the wrong number on SAM and it had a melt down, took for AH to come out to sort it.
