Did anyone else notice potato weekly would cease publication shortly? I found that handy for a price reference. My few sagitta have emerged much better this year than my first attempt last year. Later seed delivery and warmer soil. I feel the crop is 2 weeks behind normal tho. I have some manitou this year. Very slow emerging

I pay £120 a year for a thing called potato weekly by Peter Cooper, don’t know know if that’s a good thing or not?!

I’ve learnt the hard way!
however they do look well this year. Out of a cold store in Scotland on Friday planted the following Thursday. Last few days of April. I’m trying a few lady terra this year, have you any experience?

Are you saying your Sagitta are alright?

Have tried a few lady Terra, don’t think I liked the shape of them for the chipping job. Was 2-3 years ago.

Had a look this morning, rough estimate 1
In 20 plant sites affected.
it just seems to me that there is no such thing as a perfect variety! There seems to be one thing wrong with each! Slugs in piper for instance and blackleg in estima! With Sagitta it’s little potato

How's everyone getting on? Finally finished planting here, last night was cold once more and earlies still aren't through the ground.

Got one local guy who plants 900 acres. He finished just before it started raining in May and says everything looks nice. Got another local guy who plants 400 acres - started planting early march and finished late march. Again he is saying it all looks nice so far.

I see another grower near here has just started planting last week
