Id say it would be... ours was second hand, now 20 years old, means the p is close to root system as they start to grow....
We use a blend DAP +AM Sulphate

We now just drop it on top as we found it got a bit better mixed we might drop in one tine and then have one on top this year to get better spread through profile (two tines per furrow),...

I’ve got a quote for a new Horstine agroband. The folding tine bar (4 tine ) version with land wheel drive and 800L hopper is £6320. A fish tail version that drops on the bed is £5050.

A Techneat liquid placement pro LQ fert applicator is just over £6000 with a very large 1000L tank and pipes fed to the back openers.

Techneat do a solid placement machine also, looks quite tidy..
