Them loads are clean compared to mine ATM.
It’s difficult to get the sh!t in the front,
For those not in the job a bit like getting a tangled damp barley crop into your header.

Today started in the rain finished in the rain some mid day sun. Speed 1K.
Still the rain cleaned up the road.

Haven't grown piper here this year, fed up with all the problems. Saggitta went well but can't get hold of any seed.
thinking of trying some Ramos.

Sold out already? Glad it's not only me re piper. I keep thinking I can't do anything right anymore but I'm not doing anything different to before. They just aren't the same these days

I don’t think we’ve had good piper here for a few years, never fry after March and tend to go black easy. Last year was the final straw, they wouldn’t fry at all.

I think the newer varieties are just more suited to how chip shops are run nowadays. Ie open long hours and they want the chips to hold up well once they’re prepared. As they sit there longer.

still a place for piper, just not for frying.
