Anyone having problems with Standen T2 scrolls ripping off??
Lifting green top crispers in very dry conditions. Running scrolls fast and clod rollers slow with minimum gap. Ripping and damaging a lot of scrolls. Are scrolls poor quality or are my settings to harsh? Are Grimme scrolls any better??
Advice appreciated thanks.

I assume you mean the rubber off the rollers. We had that very issue on an early machine 20 years ago. The potatoes were dropping on to the end of the rollers where a similar Grimme they fell an inch or so back. Any flints and we had more than plenty could just fall in the gap just at the very start of the roller and were very quickly stripping them.cured it by returning the harvester to Standens very quickly.
I would guess if you could get something to stop them falling in that very first inch such as a piece of wood bolted along cut at an angle to push them back a fraction. That is if there any room
