Potato issue

Put in a small plot each year but this year half the leaves are curled but other half is normal.
I'd put manure on the ground where the leaf curling has taken place but not where there normal.
Could it be frost? The odd one is fine among the curled ones

It's not frost damage, as said it would be black. Had similar damage a few years ago after importing manure and put it down to herbicide damage, likely Forefront.
There's another thread running on the same subject

Aminopyralid only breaks down in the soil not in stacked manure, hence why treated grass should only be grazed not conserved.

Plants often recover in time and the residues are not considered harmful to human health.

If in doubt over manure mix some with potting compost and sow with broad beans. If beans don't emerge or are distorted use shyte on your cabbage patch, brassica crops unaffected.

Definitely damage from aminopyralid or clopyralid.
