Not good news on BBC TV Wed night .The program on carbs basically said that tatties where the work of the devil .Whole program was negative for Spuds.

Which is what really annoys me. The amount of money that is spent on levies, and I never see any good stories!

No wonder they are in continual decline.
 
Anyone got a windrower that goes on 3 point linkage for sale? My harvester won't dig down hill and I've 3 steep fields to dig this year so would need to set the first 2 runs accross to make room for trailer.

Was just over 1000 acres planted area. Wont be any time off as we're straight into the washing and grading of last years spuds to load out. Think theres over 5000t left in the stores yet

We've normally got a fair bit left but not usually this much. They have been very slow taking them this year. All sold on contract. Now we've finished planting we're hoping to ramp up the loads per day. Most years they are all gone by the end of june. They are storing ok still so thats a big help

That's good that they are on contract. Just a waiting game now.
