About a month ago £160ish?
Like everywhere else disappointing! - below average.
Is he cherry picking the best piper first?
If you want good spuds you have to grow your own traditional varieties. I'm still digging British Queens at the moment, as dry and floury as you'll get. Anyone who has tried them has said they are the best spuds they've had in a long time. Got Kerrs Pinks, Arran Victory (blues), Dunbar Standard and Pentland Dell for maincrop.I don't really know what a good chip potato should be like, I want dry and floury, not watery or soapy if that makes any sense

Bit far for me to deliver but if you know of anyone travelling from my part of the world to yours I'll happily get you some spuds. Grow your own next year, it's just the reason you need to invest in some more Ferguson machinery.Could not agree more
What day do you deliver to Pembrokeshire?
I do try with some in the garden, but they are a waste of time, slugs slugs and more slugsBit far for me to deliver but if you know of anyone travelling from my part of the world to yours I'll happily get you some spuds.
