Be selective who you rent to negates that. Go with a earlier maincrop grower who’s generally finished by mid October. Also you want a SP harvester on tracks with a bunker which drastically reduces the number of times the trailers are moving around.
Lastly should the worst happen meaning they can’t harvest them, choose somebody that will rent it again the following year so they have the cost of sorting it out.
