Careful.... you are close enough....
I'll host detectorists for payment. Rotational set aside on this farm so no harvest rush. Grassland so can be done in winter.

Think I have just the field for this - going to look at having a go I think, will knock up a website over the winter and get it fenced
I’m thinking the same - what size field though? Planning will be down to amount it’s used I’ve been told
Dog walking is big business, if you can do it right. A good friend of mine has quit his job as an office manager to walk dogs full time. 4 dogs per 1hour session £15/dog he collects leaves them back, sends pictures on the walk and they wear dog fit bits. He clears between £800-1000 a week, and he has a waiting list of people wanting his service.
Indeed, for £10 an hour you'd expect someone else to pick up any mess. What happens stupidly expensive, ever so much loved family pet picks up some nasty disease from said field having contracted it from eating previous mutts droppings.
Nice big bill landing for mega expensive vet treatment , after all they have paid for a nice safe play area!
Looking forward to the answers on this one!Are there any other country sports that could utilize area's of land?

Local one has several acres bookable for non-exclusive use for the hour, or you can book a much smaller enclosed 'training area' within the larger one for exclusive use.10 acres seems like an enormous amount of space for just walking 1-4 dogs. Local dog fields here are a fraction of that.
Would standard stock fencing be enough? Most of my dogs can clear stock mesh and barb
Serious question , what type of fencing and height would be the best type for the fencing of dog walking paddocks,as some dogs are very small (would go through sheep netting) while some dogs are very large and good at jumping !! Barbed wire must surely be out of the question???doubt it, kind of defeats the object surely? I’ve looked into this and keep toying with the idea. I would be deer fencing if I did it, which isn’t cheap!
certainly no barb wire, that’s an own goal for liability?
How about archery, and if well away from houses clay pigeon shooting? Are there any other country sports that could utilize area's of land?

With the future of RPA payments unsure, increasing feed cost, and the uncertainty around our exit from the European Community us farmers need to look at other ways of generating income.
We have developed a business model that is low impact, low maintenance and with very little ongoing costs. This business is currently generating 36K per year with the potential for more. This business opportunity requires at least 6 acres of pasture or woodlands with recreational land use permission (simple change of use required if currently agricultural land), good access, a population of 35,000 within a 15 mile radius and secure fences and hedges (stock fencing is ideal)
We will asses your sites potential and if suitable we will develop the business for you through marketing and website.
If you have the right land and are interested in generating a serious income with little effort why not give me a call 07568581695.
