Hello Everyone,
For some considerable time we have been looking for a complete lifestyle change and move to the Scottish Islands or Highlands but haven't found a property that we liked enough to progress any further, until now; we have come across a great property that would suit us perfectly for what we want to do.
The farm is just less than 100 acres, currently running sheep but has been used for pedrigree cattle in the past.
My question is should I be contacting lenders looking for a residential mortgage or is 100 acres big enough to be considered for a ag mortgage?
Do you know of any specialsist lenders who are not put off by this kind of venture?
Looking forward to your replies (yes I know we are crazy for considering this!)
