Pottinger pickup

Anyone know if there is an easy way to take the pickup reel off a pottinger mex6?
I just get the loader and put a sling around the auger and lift it off. the hydraulic ram on ours was always leaking. was never quite sure how it worked anyway.
Disconnect drive shaft.
Disconnect all chain oil pipes.
Let pick up down and put in locks at both sides
Drop both stands putting pins back in.
Disconnect hyd pipe.
Have drawbar out to max by the way
That's how I do it

Remove shafts, put stands down, three m16 nuts along the top, lock lower pickup, turn tap @ pickup hitch, activate switch for puh in cab, machine should be in working position. Stupid lifting it with a loader, no need, far safer done like above.
