Anyone got a set of new one piece tines lying around? Cant keep the 2 single tines on, and will never have another pottinger, bought it because of the one piece tine then they changed them :banghead:
Quite simply cant be got . Seen a pair on done deal but what good are two when you need a dozen ? My 4 metre pottinger is sitting idle awaiting conversion to the single tine system as the old single tines are completely wore .
The local man with a van fixer wants to spot weld the studs on the bew tines as he says its worked on other pottinger harrows in his care
I also have a 3 metre lemken a trouble free on stony ground so far ,

Same here I have become an expert at getting sheared studs out . They have gone from the best Harrow to take hardship to the worst Harrow on the market , pottinger need to wake up to this, is it just the harrows that were converted From the one piece tine that are giving trouble or are the new models doing the same .

Don’t bother buying the plates to hold on the single tines , it doesn’t work.

I think pottinger need to compensate farmers for this disaster , I have two 3 Meter pottinger harrows here in the shed that I’ve given up on, just can’t keep tines on them. We should start a petition against pottinger over this.
Cant understand why some of the spurious makers havent filled the gap and start producing the single tines . One of the toughest harrows on the market has been rendered worthless by the withdrawl of the single tine . Dont know if the new design is any good but ill give the old harrow a try with the new conversion but stay away from stony ground .

It takes very little to take them off . I’m sick of putting them on , I even welded the plate on to support the bolts , this has even broken.
