I don't think there is much point in treating for Ticks at this time of the year.
Most of them will have dropped off sheep now and will be multiplying on the ground.
The best time would be early Spring to treat them.

Ticks are a problem whenever the temperature suits them on the North York Moors (ie early spring to late autumn if the temperature is high enough for them). DON`T use Dysect without allowing some wool growth first though! And, yes it does work OK.
