I can’t get anywhere near that for 1.3 mw wind. When did you fix?
Apologies for the novice question

I am a non farmer with a general interest in renewable energy. What does 1.3mw wind mean? 1.3mw produced per hour, day, week, month, year? I've tried googling but the question is so amatuer that even Google does not return a definitive result!

Thanks

1.3mw (megawatt) is 1300 Kw (kilowatt) of total installed capacity (TIC). Effectively, that is the total amount of electricity the generator can produce in one hour. All the definitions are used as part of the Feed in Tariff (Fit) Schemes

In what way or the market being overhauled? Genuine question

I think it is the embedded benefits which are costs and receipts associated with the distribution of the electricity from the point of generation to the end user that are all being reviewed by Ofgem. We currently as an Embedded Generator receive around £7 per Mega Watt added to our Power Purchase Price but this varies in each area (DNO)

Thanks for that. So trebor07 would get an income of £780k based on him getting 6.85p per kWh?

Just checking in calculating correctly....nothing specific to trebor07

Thanks

I think it will be very wind dependent. The 1.3 Mw will be the max output , sadly the wind is very dependent on location.
I can take you to two turbines which have not achieved 8% of their rated figures
