Looking for recommendations for a power washer to clean concrete, ie cattle pens, I hear good reports on Nilfisk, over Karcher have dealers for both near hand , any other suggestions?

Made our own, bought 3ph motor and pump from PWS and mounted it on top of an ibc. 1000l tank, long hose, long extension, shift it about on forklift/loader.

also got one of those little green pto mounted things from Spaldings, it is immense, like a fire hose, ideal for lifting inch thick mud off concrete. Was wondering about fitting electric motor to it 🤔.

Nilfisk here. On my 2nd. I killed the first one running it from a water tank lack of pressure.. Bought the same model minus all the kit.

Replaced the falling apart Karcher with a Nilfisk, shop tried to tell me Karcher was a premium product and whilst more expensive worth it. Well pleased with Nilfisk so far, accessories fit on well, do not jam and are watertight unlike Karcher.

Aquawash in Glasgow sell tremendous machines badged as "cleanwell". Brass pump, stainless cover, high pressure low volume if required, run on tap or suction from a barrel/tank.

Backup from aquawash simply tremendous, though rarely ever needed with their machines.

Don't get a karcher. Many parts are specific only to their machines and spares prices are high. Nilfisk are very good machines, but again parts are often bespoke and expensive.

Nixon washers are the only other machine I've seen that comes close to the simplicity and ruggedness of the aquawash machines. However there seems to be a waiting list for the Nixon, and poor communication from the company. While parts are unlikely to be needed for either the Nixon or the aquawash, backup aquawash definitely would seem far better
