just looking to see if its worth locking in a new PPA ours is due to expire end of march , been quoted some much better prices of £189.35 per MWH excluding green certs that looks good and is much better than our 2 year old deal but the offers seem to cancelled pretty quick , used to get a 24 hrs to agree them but its more like 1/2 Hr now due apparently to market fluctuations.

Any one had an offer recently or have any speculation as to if they will get better or worse before April ?

We work in the energy market, and you're right, prices are still incredibly high.

The norm is that you get until 4pm the same day to lock in rates and sign, however there are a few suppliers trading extremely close to the curve, which means their offers do not last long at all.

The general consensus is that prices are going to stay at a high level, compared to previous years, for the next 12 months at least, however slowly declining throughout the year.

We conduct full market tenders, receiving offers from over 20 energy suppliers who purchase energy directly from us, if you'd like to see all of your options and have financial analysis conducted to decipher which is the most lucrative deal in pounds and pence for your specific supply, just let me know, my email is [email protected].

The market took a large spike overnight last night, so today would be good time to look at renewal options if you haven't locked in already.
