Prattley springs

Just had my third set of springs on my 12 ft Prattley break. They are not strong enough for the constant road work. Has anyone found another, stronger make of spring to use than the Prattley? TIA

I've never seen any that look remotely the same so my suggestion would be put another one on each side as well as

Are the RAPPA ones any stronger? They look very similar tbh, but may have been uprated.:scratchhead:

If you're doing that much road work:eek:, you might just have to take them as a regular wear and tear item.

alot of spring makers could help you out. a bit. thicker wire in the spring may help. but. if. too strong. could. transfer the load on to ropes or to mounting points
have you added more. weight in to the yard set up more gates etc could also be. tires bit tight transferring shock to. springs

To be honest the springs don't break, they wear out, then break! Rough roads doing over 10000 miles a year with it takes it's toll. Although paying good money for a mobile system, the springs should take the work.
