Pre-em marks and rolling

Finally moved into the 20th century and have pre-em markers on the drill.
What's the best way to suggest to the roller man to conserve the visibility of my marks?

I roll the tramlines first, then headlands, then fill in the land work.

Bit of a battle here. I roll tramlines then fill in, sprayer driver avoids the marks. I would rather we had one less set of wheeling and he counts the marks when working out his first spray if it’s not up yet.

Rolls 6m I think.

No auto steer, so roller might be 6 but only rolling 5m ......wobbly

On our clay you can roll the whole lot on an angle and still see the markers.

4.5m drill and 6m rolls. 18m tramlines?

Headlands first, then roll with the tramlines. Easier if the rollers about fit the tramlines. 6.3m rollers on 24m tramlines here, manage fine by eye, sometimes use an old gps lightbar to keep widths right if visibiliy is bad.

Drive down all the tramlines first and then fill it in.
If your sprayer man can't work out which rolling wheeling is a tramline you need a new sprayer man.

Why not just roll pre-em marks to put in wheel marks for tramlines first, then roll the field as a whole at an angle so all other roller wheel marks face a different way?

Bloody piece of pee then. Tramlines first. Fill in. Most rolls are that little bit wider so I've had 6.3m, 8.4m. 12.somethkng for a bit of error.

I started with gang rolls behind an ih674 and by the end of summer could find mine till tramlines, and fill the gaps with a ring or two overlap. Not tricky.

I bloody love rolling.

I used to drag a length of heavy chain and do the tramlines first, lift the chain up and fill in the rest

Put the centre of the tractor in line with 1 of the pre em marks so your effectively 1 wheel in the middle of the tramline and another out. Leaves the marks fine even on very light ground

Sounds like you need to swap the nut behind the steering wheel.
