I was think of instead of burning off cover day before drilling and spray pre me the day after, how about just drilling the beans, then 7/10 days later spray pre em and glyph together??

I used to do glyph and nirvana 7 to 10 days after drilling without issues. Now I only use nirvana on any areas where there is a risk of a poor crop, and just glyph on the rest. Nirvana does help kill rosebay willow herb, but is an expensive way of doing it!

No till beans are just so much cleaner than with tillage.

Last year on the advice of @yellow belly I drilled the beans later and left out the pre-em and went through with some Troy later. One field had no herbicide and was spotless. A history of heavy chemical use meaning limited seed bank, other than bg, and dd might have helped

I'm tempted to give that a go rather than Nirvana - think I'll do a trial.

Bentazone is on the to be banned list though!

Use it while you can, at least you have the option to use it as required. TBH there is no profit in spring beans here anymore so costs need to be controlled, they were once the top paying crop so the smaller the area the better.

I have used avadex prem but now sadly not on the label

if you have land that has been winter cropped for years 20 or more there is often no spring germinating weeds

charlock may be a problem if too much weedy rape has been grown but if notill and a clean cereal crop prior the weeds that grow after mid aprill can often be absent a thick layer of straw can help with charlock but may also keep the soil cold

if a field has had weedy march planted spring crops in the past mid april planting can bypass the weeds bit high seed rates are essential 60 or more seeds per m
