Pressure washer hose question

I have a Kranzle pressure washer its ok bit leaky but ok.

I think the hose it comes with is about 10m. If I got an extension hose of 20-25m for it would I lose significant pressure at the end of it?

Are pressure washer hoses standard fitments or are they very specific to manufacturers as genuine Kranzle hose is dear enough

We run ours all the time with a double length hose.(20m)
The washer never moves from its place at the 'back yard'. From its place I have also run a 30 m length of solid pipe along the wall of the parlour and handling race. This has 3 take off points to put the hose on to using quick release fittings.(pressure is fine to use at full distance.)

The guy that supplied the machine said moving the actual washer about potentially causes most damage. It' s 15 years old now and clocked up a lot of hours hard work

My Karcher blew a hole in the hose the other day and ordered up a replacement from these guys who are also Kranzle dealers. https://cleantec.biz/products/pressure-washer-parts-accessories/high-pressure-hoses.html?p=9
A good bit cheaper than genuine Karcher hose. Their ones for Kranzles start on page 9 of link.

Also bought a 30m extension hose as well because found out the hard way in the past that capacitors on karcher washers don't like being operated on the end of a 50m electric extension real.

A long extension lead is meant to knacker the starting capacitor. I have a long cord and had to replace the capacitor. If someone can explain the science, I'd be very grateful.:scratchhead:
