pressure washing using a slurry tanker?

We've an old but good slurry tanker on the farm, I was planning to attach a high volume hose to the 2" outlet for washing our handling pens. If I run the pump at tickover will this work? Or does it create to much pressure with such a small pipe? Is it particularly sore on the pump? We don't need the tanker for any other work now.

Thanks in advance

No real problem..the excess air will just escape through the blow off valve. But dont expect much in the way of pressure . About 15psi is the norm... so you really need a large diameter hose attached to do any cleaning.

With a big enough hose ( and short) itll be a volume washer. Not a pressure washer.
