What’s everyone paying for umbilical slurry spreading, had a bill for £90 a hour from reeling out to reeling in at finish, for twin jet spread bar, seemed expensive

Sounds about right wants be £100hr if there on 5 inch pipe .... we used to charge half price reeling time but some farmers were getting more reeling time than pumping time so now just flat rate £90hr .... some clown will do it for £40-50hr for you but will they come the day after the forager or will they even still be trading in a couple years time? Or will they reseed that 2 acre slurry lake they made when there ancient pipes exploded ....

that's £45 per man/tractor...….pump tractor will be using 18/22 lts of fuel an hr......pipe is circa 10/12 per mtr and can tear a hole in it at anytime...…..you scrape an old gate hook into your lagoon that goes through the pump and makes a hole in it then all you do is argue that it was worn thin anyway...….if anything he's slightly on the cheap side
