Price of grassland rent per acre?

Hi, sorry if this has been asked a million times before, how much would be the going rate per acre for grass keep? we have 22 acres that we rent out between may and December (2 cuts of silage and then sheep) and im just trying to get up to speed on the going rate per acre?

many thanks

The farmer that rents pays for fert, we will prob end up harrowing/rolling, we cut the hedges etc, so from the figures been talked about I need to be talking about £2860ish per annum based on £130 per acre and we keep sfp?

agree with TF £125 -150 per acre no fertilizer but only for fresh seeds capable of being silaged twice and lattermath grazing 1st April to 1st October .SFP retained by Land Lord other qualities at whatever price you can get.
At those prices must be cheaper buying brewers grains etc surely

suppose it depends how productive the ground is. brewers grains is 50 quid tonne!!how much grass you rekon off an acre of average quality leys??10 tonne an acre? at 150/acre is 15/ tonne
but you then have to pay for the fert and to get it made, worry about the weather to get good quality etc,

Depends on wether you are buying or selling ,and what part of uk you live not every body has access to straw and other by products as tou might have in Wilts county of stargazers .
Them daft Devon boys pay £100 /acre for standing straw then stand there and chant that 6 months grass is only worth £50, been on the cider I thinks
