Price of headlight for Ford ranger

Just got a price for drivers side headlight for my 2020 wildtrak €1300+ vat absolutely crazy in my opinion!!! Oh and passenger side is €760+vat !!!

Warranty or insurance?
I wouldn't think they'd expect to sell a headlight for a new vehicle.
Probably priced to rip off insurance companies.

Well that’s probably right because I decided to let insurance fix it

Depending on demand for new vehicles it's surprising how long it can take for parts to become available. This can work two ways either charge a fortune as in effect taking a part off the production line or just charge a fortune as there's no other place to buy one. Dealers will generally charge 100% mark up on parts at least.
