Problems with apps on android phone

Has anyone else got problems opening apps on their android devices this morning? A quick Google is suggesting that a Google update has cocked up some apps, I can't even get my aol mail app to work let alone any of my solotaire games for the 5 minutes of contemplating on the throne.

Having issues today on a Sony, no emails or online banking. Thankfully TFF works!

Go into play store then installed apps then "android system webview" and update that and that should cure it

I've been struggling all day, can get on Play Store, get a page with the Android System Webview thingy but all it does is give me a whole load of reviews and what it's about, no Uninstall or refresh, absolutely nada. Getting a little cheesed off now. Can't even text or receive texts either.

Update Google Chrome... Fixed ours this morning. Both S8s

Now I've had a bit of time to have a look and try a few different things with wi-fi that works it seems to be fixed. Chrome update looks like it's done the trick.

You have to uninstall that app.had major issues with a Sony here.bought another phone but got old one working again now
