A family friend has just got a crossbow.

It's frightening how powerful it is but also it's crap.

Takes ages to reload, if you miss you spend ages looking for arrows, arrows are expensive...

How far are they good for then?

I once found an arrow that was supposed to have hit a target in my neighbour's yard but he missed. It kept going over his 3 acre field of grass and landed on the second tramline in my field.
