:eek:Anyone else noticed the big editorial mistake in December 21's Profi? Massive mistake. Either that or perhaps they are testing their readers to see if they actually read the articles? :bookworm:

Funny i used to like profi but now the only thing worth reading sometimes is the machine management bit. But you still buy it in case you might miss something 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

So have you read it and noticed something odd about some of it this month? Or have I got it horribly wrong myself?
I've just had a quick look but not noticed anything? My big complaint is that it now seems to be printed on paper that my local chipshop would reject for wrapping chips in! Mags I get for free have far better paper quality!!

So what mistake have you spotted?

I see what he has found, its so glaringly obvious!!

It says the Optum 270CVX is 210kW, when in actual fact its 212kW.

Well spotted Duck.

They've reprinted a Deutz test from 25 years ago without really explaining why other than a tiny "25 years of Profi" label. Is this what you thought was a mistake?

Yes. There is no explanation. The little decal might mean anything. I just had a feeling of deja-vu reading a review of a near twenty-five year old tractor design. They either missed out an introduction or set it as a test for reader attention. Its easily found if you are looking for it but not so much when you stumble across it, not knowing your tractors,

It’s been poor for years, I really used to enjoy it too.
Stopped getting in when every other issue was half full of global farm economics section in the middle, what did that have to do with machinery?!
And the 2 issues into 1 ‘harvest special’ is just a cop out.
Farm machinery journal, classic tractor and large farm and contractor mag seem to be best these days.
