My pension must be with a different company.Just finished here today.
My wife thinks I'm mad but I take great pleasure in bringing these classics back to life . They also have a great following like the 7000 series John Deere. No problem cashing in this policy!!!

I want to get one ploughing on a nice spring day and keep the right hand door open so I can hear the noise
There ain't no other sound like it. Keep it down around 1600 rpm , who needs a radio. They also sound fecking awesome at full chat, years ago when my son was about five he always knew when I was coming home with loads of barley from about a mile away. He always ran and told his mum "Dad's home with another load". For a while she used to doubt him until I came roaring past five minutes later, he always used to stand at the gate with a huge grin and the thumbs up. Happy days(y)

the only tractor i have heard with more of a roar is a 7720 but still no where near the pulling power of a 7710/7810!!! certainly a noise i can put up with, even on tickover the nice lopey idle

If they had of made the bonnet on the 7820 end at the wheels and made it possible to bang a normal front linkage on they would of been better in every possible way than a 7810.
They had far better lift at the links, much better cooling, nicer cab, better grip, far better turning circle, and sounded better as well except there was no wee window to appreciate it.(y)
