As far as im aware of the lely stabilo tedders and the lely rakes have been discontinued since agco bought them, i dont know if its the same story for the mowers ?
im told now that if you want a tedder and a rake from agco your going to get a Fella one as they either own it or have shares in it.

Ah the joys, not only is the hexagon drive shaft broken but all 3 parts are twisted as well making it a right PITA to get out

Any issues getting the shaft? I've been trying to get one for a customer. Kramp were quoting June delivery and no one else seemed interested. Ended up getting a length of 14mm stainless. Then sods law the kramp order turned up 2 days later

We ordered 1 a while ago when we ordered most of the obvious parts but going through the box of parts it’s not there [emoji57] gonna wait till I get the rest completely stripped down to see if I need anything else, the ordered shaft was listed on invoice

All stripped into the separate sections now just awaiting a few more parts before the rebuild, priced up a disc drive section thisafta as 1 went tight after knocking out a bit of twisted shaft, £420 for 1 complete unit like this

But on closer inspection I’d just damaged 1 of the bearings knocking out shaft, does anyone know if the discs are timed or just at 90’ to each other? They where at all sorts of angles with the shaft being broken and twisted

They are timed to 90deg
Fit the shaft then spin the unit until it lines up

did you get all your parts from agco? I love how people say lely mowers are crap, but what other mower could you stay using with a chunk that size gone out of it? In fact i'll say they are ideal for people who don't hear the blades cutting holes in the bed. braze it up and away you go again. an oil immersed bed would be written off.

Good job he’s not waiting for them off claas.
