Project Xerion.

Full marks from me, no question about it. That thing looks like a complete weapon. A bit of lime spreading shouldn't be any problem for a machine that looks like something madmax would use to invade Iraq on his lonesome.

What tyres are going on it? What is the top speed (theoretical) of a machine like that? Can you show us some pictures of the cab interior, I bet it is pretty plus compared to a tractor?

Here we go then. I don’t think I can stand any more texts, calls PMs and posts on here!!

Whilst I mention those, thank you all for your interest, it’s been really great.

Delivered today, a 2015 Mercedes Zetros. The very same one I should have bought two years ago instead of the Xerion.

It’s done 33,000 kms, is 330hp and, crucially, has an Allison auto gearbox. As far as I’m aware it is totally unique in the U.K.

One of the first jobs will be bigger boots. Then working out the hydraulic requirements.

My Bredal body is away for a total power coat job and it will get all new bearings and belts before going back on.

Took her out for a little spin, very nice.

That definitely looks more the part Pete
How does it compare to the multi when it comes to un laden weight and the size of boots you can get under it ?
If you can get that sorted it looks far more the machine for the job

Very smart indeed!!

It does make you wonder why UK agriculture doesn't use more of these all wheel drive trucks. Put that beside a fendt, and I know which one i'd prefer to pilot!!

Looking forward to see how big a set of Carlos Fandango's you can muster under it now

I think once the body is on it will weigh just a bit less than the Multistrife. At the moment it is about 1.5t less, having weighed it this morning.
