I notice that they have now stretched a 4220 by 1.4 meters. Would be ideal for mounting a sprayer on!
Southern Spreaders have converted it I think.Out of the factory, as an option?
Not that i know of.Have AM philip’s stretched any 4220’s yet, they and knights have done f/c conversions but wondered if they’d stretched any they did a lot of the previous generation 2100’s but haven’t seen any of these done?

It would be a more compact machine and potentially a better ride having the cab in the middle of the machine rather the stuck out at the front.I believe a forward control machine can be put back to standard spec quite a quickly so has better resale potential, and is on the payload limit of the axles. Would their be a benefit to stretching one which would be more permanent?

@croppersalister , Douglas has thisHave AM philip’s stretched any 4220’s yet, they and knights have done f/c conversions but wondered if they’d stretched any they did a lot of the previous generation 2100’s but haven’t seen any of these done?
I think they are stretching them for landquip forward control fastracs.Have AM philip’s stretched any 4220’s yet, they and knights have done f/c conversions but wondered if they’d stretched any they did a lot of the previous generation 2100’s but haven’t seen any of these done?
Do they still do it now they are owned by Scot jcb?I think they are stretching them for landquip forward control fastracs.
I don't think that they are actually stretching them. Just moving the cab to the front.I think they are stretching them for landquip forward control fastracs.
Agrii must have bought most of them. Couple up here, had 1 in putting on liquid fert last year.I was surprised when talking to Knight last summer about their forward controlled fastrac sprayer ,that only 4 machines had been built ! I had assumed that they were building one or more a month. It put me off the idea and it's all gone very quiet ie not really pushing or advertising the concept for some reason.
Plan for next years project pete? [emoji6]I really liked the idea of that machine, but you just cant put enough weight on it. Fine for a sprayer, no doubt, but I think a 10t lime body would punish it.
I'm pretty sure they bought all of themAgrii must have bought most of them.
