Doesn't have to be 'coin' any longer! Our honesty shop now has a full self service card checkout!!
All contactless of course :D

@onesiedale can you tell me how you did this? I did ask on Facebook (I'm guessing it wasn't you that replied) but was just told it was izettle. We use izettle but haven't worked out how to do a self service menu without customers being able to access all the rest of the options on it.

A cheap iPad as the screen. Held in a proper frame for the job then a plastic cover over the top toolbar to keep fingers from straying and cocking up the settings. (Like the one that gives 100%discount!!!)
Bit fiddly, but is works and is VERY low cost 👍

Made it and stuck it on.
You have to make sure you leave a space cut out on the RHS to leave access to the dustbin icon, so that people can cancel an entry.
Unfortunately we haven't worked out how to move the icon

Dear TFF,

I want to create and promote a live list of:

Open Farm Shops
Meat-Box Delivery services
Milk Delivery services
Any Farms that offer a food collection or delivery service.

Old school Field to Fork.

What I need:

A website link or contact details for your business.
Service/Goods that you can provide
Opening Hours.
Any pertenat additonal information.
LOCATION.

I am in lockdown here and two weeks ahead of most, supermarkets still have huge ques and online delivery has all but shut, NOW is the time to promote your shop/service. Two reasons, 1) you help the wider community 2) those clients will be with you long after this blows over.

Stay Safe, Look forward to populating the list.

Matt

Online farm shop, delivering in West Sussex.

We might be able to help @Tractorstant, what did you have in mind? Pm if you'd rather,
Tim

Hi Tim,

It's for the mother in law she's on her jack-jones and can't come here so I thought it would be nice to send her a box of Rat Poison containing all she would need, Turkey ( crown maybe ) Jams, cheeses, ham that sort of thing. Would prefer local rather than a big chain. One of my best mates used to live in Wormingford back in the day. Cheers Matt. Fee fee to PM me your number and we can chat.

You can't be far from Woodhouse Farm then. As a Community Supported Agriculture project, you can get involved at a practical level or just buy their produce.
