Non farming Friend of mine looking to buy a property that comes with 16 acres of land that has previously been rented to local arable farm.
the property is top end of budget so there won’t be a lot of spare cash in the short term. They would like to maximise income from the land over the standard arable rental if possible with a long term view to do glamping etc.
equestrian isn’t a road they want to go down ideally.

What would arable rent bring in?

All ideas welcome

3.3Ac made 200K next door last year , farmer buyer!
That's not for agricultural use though must be for a couple houses or green houses to grow cannabis... Or something.

Normally I'd happily defend the rich against paying more taxes but if they're going to do dumb sh!t like that then maybe the government would be better having it...
