Prostate cancer

Maybe on a different string but same subject. Danish Ag and Health advice and research light years ahead of ours.
Batches of ten into hospital with Prostrate cancer. One batch given Tamoxifen (standard anti cancer drug for breast cancer etc costing pence per day) plus Pomegranate juice. Four of the ten tumour reduced virtually unidentifiable on scanner, four tumour reduced and went home to enjoy further life. Two died. Those ten men went to hospital to die as they do here so 80% success rate not to be sniffed at especially as they have the same climate, genetics and diet as us.
Every morning I have third of a pint of Pomegranate juice plus blueberry juice straight from the fridge. You feel it going all the way to the seat of the action.
Before you reckon I am a hypochondriac the only other pill I take is An odourless Garlic pill. Never had a cold in years.
The garlic/aspirin mix I sell is equivalent to Dursban in its effect so I just have a bit of that.
Very much into alternatives be it Kimchi or even Refreshers for Heartburn especially after two watching two games in the rugby club.
Good luck to you sufferers but the above worked for an acquaintance of mine who got three years extra than diagnosed of having three months by following the above plus lots of organic greens.

Any man over 50 can request a PSA (blood) test from their GP.
If that comes back irregular (Irregular PSA can have other causes) you can have an MRI of the prostate.
Its one of the slowest growing forms of cancer on its own so you can live for decades with no detriment or treatment.

Lots more here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/prostate-cancer/

Absolutely! Please don't anyone panic unless definitely diagnosed. Just get it checked out.

Anybody getting checked on this.

A mate stopped us on the road today, he's suspected although yet to be confirmed of having it.

He looked floored.
My mates got it and getting tested regular and/or get help asap seems wise advice.
His life sounds a nightmare and very worrying for him and family.

A quick note to say that the Prostate Cymru website- www.prostatecymru.com - has not long launched what they call a 'chatbot',the response has been positive so far though it's not quite fully populated yet..it's never a substitute for professional guidance but anyone with questions and worries might find information they're seeking there and we'd value any feedback..Spreading awareness is what we're about and any assistance is more than welcome...

Hope you don’t mind me posting this here but having lots of friends affected by this lately I am taking part in the rust bucket rally in June, raising money for Prostaid, a local cancer charity.
The link to our just giving page is below

I also have another thread on here (don’t know how to link it) that will follow our progress. “£500 car for charity event”

Thanks guys.

Moffat Health centrer in the US found 1mhz 8w ultrasound cures prostate cancer in a one minute treatment, can be treated at home with a device that costs about £30, health centers use an anal probe to get the emitter near the tumor, but the beauty device at the above levels can be applied at the base of the penis and it will cure the cancer, also any other cancer in the body. all cured in 1 minute.

It literally sounds too good to be true! Incidentally, a fogger/humidifier runs at 1.5 MHz for pocketmoney but I wouldn't want one up my anus.

Someone should have told the Liverpool hospitals trust about that, then they wouldn't have needed to spend £1.6 million on a robotic machine, unless it can be converted to clearing up pig sh!t.

Marvellous!! Shut the hospitals and treat yourself while having a coffee

Felt a bit tired a while ago, so told the doctor. Then got a succession of blood and urine tests. I am 80 and frankly it seemed a bit ridiculous because I have been doing my usual work and otherwise felt fine. Then I got blood in my urine. I mean I was pissing what looked like 100% blood. The doctor reassured me and said it could be many things, including a small kidney stone, which sounded about right as there was a pause mid flow as if a blockage had cleared. 48 hours later I was back to normal No real urgency to get up to pee at night but I usual woke around 4am to go. Lasted out until 5am - 6am by cutting out late night drinks. I had my prostate zapped some time ago and I know about urgency and it was not that. Doctor arranged for me to get an x-ray, then an ultrasound. Nothing! It seemed a waste of time to me. I was scheduled for a cystocopy (video camera up the penis) but as I felt fine I told them to cancel it.

Then I did some fencing the other day which was a bit tiring and the blood in urine is back. Quick call to re-schedule that cystocopy. I urinated more blood this evening and expect to have to go again soon as I assume it's good to rink plenty of fluids. I know blood in the urine is a symptom of prostate cancer but I thought it would be a small quantity over a period, not quite a heavy flow all at once like this, then stopping? This thread has been partially reassuring. The worst thing is worrying about animals. I am on my own here and am fairly philosophical about death, as I think many farmers are, but I can't stand the thought of livestock not being fed and wondering where the hell the boss is! So, lots of tests but nothing conclusive. I insisted on getting a full report, but it seems they can't come to any conclusions, just the tests not coming up with normal results. If it was cancer, would they not have found something in the blood and urine tests by now?

It's easy. Just avoid women and work. Oh, and keep breathing!

Not sure I want to live too long. My father was well into his 90s when he got gangrene in his legs. They wanted to amputate them, but fortunately he died. I suspect I am going to get strangled with red tape and bored to death by civil servants and bureaucrats (none here, of course).

OK, an update and an even bigger scare. Urine/blood flow (mostly blood) slowed down to a trickle in the early hours of this morning, then finally stopped altogether. Phoned NHS24 (the number is 111 if you are ever in need) and was told to go to the local hospital. To cut a long story short, I was fitted with a catheter as the doc said clots in my blood had blocked the sphinctr to my urethra. There's a chance clots could also block the catheter in which case I have orders to go to the nearest A&E 35 miles away. Meantime, I am following doctor's orders and am home again, sitting by the fire drinking lot and lots to keep things moving. The thoughts are that the problem is something in my bladder, so not prostate. Not sure whether that is good news or bad but they are going to go ahead with the video camera to find out. One of the greatest pleasures in life must be having a pee again when you haven't been able to, even though it is through a tube and into a plastic bag!

As the prostate is downstream of the bladder, catheterisation rules that out. Upstream, the kidneys are extracting the urine from your blood so maybe the source? Flexible cystoscopy, although classed as invasive, is not unpleasant given the local anaesthetic gel pumped up your penis. The camera is only 15 French thirds of a millimetre diameter and gives great images so make yourself look at the screen. Last year I saw the sea anenomes of bladder cancer so had them TURBT'd and sealed off with chemo.

Bit of an update on this. The flow of urine/blood stopped completely. Rushed to the local hospital at 1am where they inserted a catheter. That too got blocked, apparently with a blood clot. I was then ordered to take myself to the regional hospital (35 miles) in increasing pain. Not being able to pee is not pleasant! Two days later and I am back home with the urine still bloody but I have been flushed out four times and seen the urologist who wants me back again when things have settled down. He thinks the source of the blood is somewhere within the bladder but obviously can't do an examination while the urine is so bloody. The kidneys, as rick-vandal surmised, appear to be OK. The chance of bladder cancer is about 20% apparently. It was not a nice experience, my biggest worry being the livestock, but friends have rallied round and done a great job and i am home again with everything fed in my absence. Just got the key in the door when I got an overwhelming urge to 'go' and just made it in time! So, fingers crossed.
