Proven wind turbines

When I am driving around I often see smaller turbines on farms, are they used for the farm ie heating a glass house or is it all sold to the grid ? Just being nosey.

Ours feeds the grid but now we have an ASHP for heating the house we are looking at getting a direct feed which will save us about a 5 p per unit compared to the export value.

What's that ?look higher and more expensive than a small proven ?
It’s a Vergnet 200 which has an annual 400 - 420 megawatts coming up to 7 years In service so far, 55 metres to the hub with a 32 metre span on the blades.
(Getting 7.3 p on our PPA at the moment)
Next 3 years electric supply with BG from November 2021 is fixed at 22.5 p so using our own would be saving nearer 14 p although I anticipate the PPA will soar on the back of recent events.
