We use it for water treatment, and spray on cubicle beds. Works very well. Tried udder spray, herdsman not convinced. Tried footbathing foam, but the wind took it all away.

No i don't use it, i live in the U.S. and it seems to be a UK thing, just figured id share the only thing i could find about. it seems like an ok product but why not consider the alternative no antibiotics?

It is not an antibiotic, more a biotic! Good bacteria working for us, combatting the baddies

I've used it in calf sheds on woodchip and also when we loose housed milking cows. Does seem to keep the bedding drier and you don't get that waft of ammonia when you walk in the shed occasionally.

I did use it as a teat spray and it was ok, but the lack of emmoliants meant that teat condition suffered. I have heard of people mixing glycerine into it, which should sort that out and I think I will give it a go next year.

I've also used the quiet wean nose clips they sell and they are absolutely fantastic.

I knew that already. i guess my punctuation was wrong. but what i was trying to say was that the best fix for overuse of antibiotics would be to use little or none and raise animals in a better environment which won't need constant dose of antibiotics.

We hardly use any antibiotics pruex use good bactiria to colanise an enviroment making it hard for bad bacteria to live the concept is new to me so in theory it sounds great but does it actually work thats the question
It might work verry well on a dirty farm with poor managment but is there any benefit to a high standard farm 🤷‍♂️

So what theory is new to you? the fact that you and every living mammal needs good microbial life in their stomach? If so do some research you will find thats it is the things we can't even see that keep everything alive. i guess this is where we need to believe in the unseen. ;)
