PTO Guard replacements

Sorry I can’t help with the output of your MF 65.
I have noticed PTO guards that have been damaged ( often guard pulled off of retaining ring ) when the chain is secured too tightly and the PTO angle changes. I always leave the chain as slack as possible and it just raps around the guard until the slack is taken up.
Also in very dusty conditions a guard keeps the dust off from drying the grease which allows the shaft to slide under load. A shaft may slide ok without load but needs to be well greased to prevent torque lockup while under load.

It’s amazing how people don’t look after pto shaft in general.
I sold a machine to a chap and ended up buying it back couple years later. The pto tubes had never been greased since I sold it. Pulled it apart and a load of silver dust fell on floor. Tubes were scrap and guard rings melted away. Had to Chuck the whole lot in the bin and buy new.
Then folk wonder why dealers can’t give good money for trade in machines

I have a horrible shaft on the diet feeder, anytime there is a frost the two tubes won't slide so the ends of the guards pull off. Then if you hook the feeder off they slide up past each other and can't be got down again.

A couple of decades ago a mistake I made and learned from was I fitted the inner guard tube on the end of the outer shaft and outer on the inner. I had not thought about it but it allowed a smearing of grease from the shaft to get on the inside of the outer guard tube where it is sliding with the inner guard tube, dust and muck stuck to the grease and causing the guard to be very stiff to slide.
