Pump tractor thoughts?

Have had a seperator for a few years and had a couple of Internationals on it .Both have head probs at the minute and the CX105 has been running it ( We have 3 phase close by but it would cost upwards of 12 000 to fit a 3 phase pump and put the 3 phase in at least)
What to peeps consider to be a bomb proof (to some extent) tractor to run a pump please?
I will use the same tractor to spread the solids too ,hopefully ,so keeping the bores used to a bit of different work (as its the constant one rev that tractors arent great fans of )

What sort of hp do you need for it? I don’t think a db can be better for static pto work. We had a case db 1394 (I think) running a teagle 404m and it could murder it at times but it never failed, got hot or had any special treatment. Maybe not the tractor for spreading with though

Sorry ,should have said - its a Storth static slurry pump -I think they say 60-70 hp min ,the one Inter was a 68 hp 684 and the other a 78hp 784

Perkins 6534 or a Cummins 6bt on a skid will do that job forever, and be a lot cheaper than a tractor

Never when you're looking for one! There's been one in each of the last three collectives at York, none in the current one!

Was @glasshouse not selling an engine.

We had an ex mf combine 6 354 on a irrigation pump. It worked well just a bit noisy for night pumping.

That said, I have a Cx 105 here and I would think that about perfect too. Or you need that elsewhere?
I love the way you can slip the pto gently with the McCormick

Would a perkins not be more frugal than a cummins? Which over its life span would be quite a difference in runnin costs

you dont need the turbo Cummins, so a 6B would do. These are loads cheaper then the 6BT as teh LandRover lunes dont want those!
£500 is more than enought for a Cummins 6B, in a trcuk they are about 120HP i believe,

Far more efficient to couple the pump direct to the flywheel with flexible coupler
