Pumping slurry underground

Currently going 300 metres across a silage field to get to the lagoon with an umbilical pipe. Has anyone laid pipe underground? How much did it cost per metre?

How much per metre was that? Iv been told I’m looking at 10£ a metre

I did 950m of 160mm underground main about 8 years ago and the pipe was between 9 and 10 per metre. It's the hydrants that are expensive.

Google a price. we dont have hydrants just Storz couplings on pipe ends diagonaly out of the ground in the field margins.

If we ever need to move it in the winter it’s through a wet field and will make a mess. Just handier long term, have to shift it pre cutting and shift it back after etc. Just like things handy and time efficient in a nutshell
