Push notifications

TFF would like my permission to use push notifications, what does this mean? I’m sure if I’m seeing it, so are others.

notification get ‘pushed’ as soon as they come in. Other options are on a timed basis like every hr or so.

those who enable it basically like to know the latest gossip ASAP ?

Push notifications are a Windows thing, it means you get live alerts as things happen. You normally get a popup in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Lots of websites and applications (like mail) use this to notify you something has happened.

If you don;t want to be asked, you say no and select the don;t ask me again. You can do this in setting as well I believe.

Its not a feature I love personally, but some people like it.
