Errrr

I used my dead brain to make a front press/front weight

Weights on for cultivation, weights off for swath rolling

Dead easy to lift with the front links though ?

My other Deutz k430 tractor has both 10x40kg wafers, or a 600kg block made from bolted together zetor wafers that's lifted on with the loader tractor (which has front links, pictured above)

I tend to throw the wafers on more often than the block, but maybe I like the exercise [emoji849]

I used a frame the same and wheels i just put my link arms onto lugs on the orange box above wheels
It great as you can put arms down when drilling etc so no weight on tractor fronts then lift as you lift rear arms

I lift Ford 10 series weights on and off with a sling through the handles takes 30 seconds

don’t you have difficulty getting them lined up correctly on the carrier though to drop the retaining pin in to stop the weights sliding sideways and off the side of the frame ?

Nearly did you buy a new set of links or did you manage to find a s/h set? I’m looking for a set for an 8340
I've a couple of pairs in the hoard.
They will need to be redrilled to fit.i'm fitting loader brackets at same time.
They are out there but approaching price of new. :(
New ones fold up tidier too.

Before I got front links on the tractor I bought a massey block weight and lifted it on and off using a chain pulley lift from a roof truss , worked extreamly well and no sore backs
