I pushed the 9 hole bar into the weights. It can live there now.

I have front links to go on this soon.

Did that once with old Massey weights ,hit a furrow weights bounced off and broke the handles off ,pain putting them on and off after that

Use 900Kg big pack weight here on the JD’s Easy to lift on and off with a strap and using the telehandler. Biggest job is doing up the locking bolt, need to put a socket on a drill, takes forever with the socket ratchet

Has anybody ever used the big slab weight of the back of a scrap industrial forklift ?

I can't be bothered to read the thread but before we had front linkage we fabricated a frame that the weights fitted on and hooked over the weight carrier with plate with two bolts to mimic the little individual plates on the weights to stop the frame from coming off. Undo the two bolts and lift off with a pallet. In fact the one we built for a 1990s Magnum we made wider so we could get 22 weights on instead of 18.

Have a set of wafer weights that I put on the mf 5713. Iirc theres 11 × 45kg which is a pain in the back literally to do as I take them off and on as required. Is there a way of doing that as one using the front suspension raising and lowering? Near sure I've heard of it being done before.

Are they the square type weights that have the flat front? We had a couple of sets of them from 300 and 3000 MF's and and ended up putting them on a frame for a rear loader counterweight and got newer 55kg fan weights with a hole, you can run a bar through to keep them togther and lift them off in one go with a sling and forklift. The 6495 came with a 800kg monoblock on the front weight carrier and that's better again, can go on front linkage as well.

You could make fixes arms on the front like the big fendts without a linkage have.
